PunaMusta was certified in 2018 by the international ClimateCalc carbon footprint lifecycle assessment, which is used to measure the overall amount of greenhouse gases caused during the lifecycle of a print product. More than 90% of the paper we use is PEFC-certified and our operations are guided by the ISO 9001 and EN 14001 certifications. PunaMusta has committed to reduce its own carbon footprint by 20 percent by 2025.
PunaMusta’s environmental responsibility involves the regular assessment of the business operations’ environmental effects. Environmental issues are managed on the basis of the principle of continuous improvement. Social responsibility refers to good operating practices in relation to all stakeholder groups. The staff is cared for and the customers are at the centre of operations. From the perspective of financial responsibility, the basic prerequisites for operations are profitable business operations and taking care of their continuity.

Quality and environmental certificates ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 guide all our operations. The certification is issued during audits regularly organized by Bureau Veritas.
