Stitched insert
Minimum four pages. Stitching in the middle of the product or on the cover.
Requirements for binding: trimming room 3-5 mm at the binding’s top edge and a 10 mm extra lip on the edge notably helps with stitching.
Confirm other details with the press facility’s contact person.

Spine glued insert
Only for perfect-binded products.
The insert must have 3-15mm at the top (check the correct dimensions with the printer). The insert requires a 3 mm bleed in the spine side of the page.
The right edge and bottom edge can be in raw size if the insert is the same size as the product.
If the insert is narrower or shorter than the sheet, the bottom edge and/or right edge must be cut to the final size.
If the insert is smaller than the sheet’s page size:
top margin 3-15 mm (correct size must always be checked with the press facility) (minimum size 105 x 148 mm)
There is no limitation on the number of pages in inserts.
Placement will be between the printed sheets.

INSERTS
Loose inserts and glued inserts from thin to non-bending materials (for example CDs).
Loose inserts
Size:
minimum size A6
maximum size: Loose insert inside the magazine has to be 1 cm smaller than the main product. When inserting outside the product, the insert can be in the same size.
Number of inserts:
In a stitched product there can be a maximum of four inserts.
In a perect binden product there can be a maximum of four inserts.
Placement:
Inserts are placed at random intervals, however with all inserts in the same location.
Paper:
If the insert is two pages, the paper must be at least 150 g/m². An accordion-folded insert can only be handled manually. |
Dot glued insert
Size:
minimum size: A6
maximum size: 200 x 200 mm
Number of inserts:
A product can have a maximum of two online dot glued inserts. If necessary, more offline dot glued inserts can be added.
Placement:
The insert will be placed on the first page of a sheet. If the insert has more than three pages, the folded edge of the insert (or back of the binding) will be placed in the direction of the bottom edge.
Paper:
If the insert is two pages, the paper must be at least 150 g/m². |
SINGEL-PLASTIC WRAPPING
In polyeten or polypropen foil
In connection with individual wrapping we can produce:
3 loose inserts as well as
1 thicker product such as a CD, diskette, calendar, etc.
(The appropriateness of each insert must be confirmed with the bindery.)
We can handle most any kind of inserts manually.
Loose insert size:
minimum size: A6

loose inserts randomly between pages in the product or on the paper’s back cover.

If the product is to be mailed, address information can be inkjet-addressed on the surface of the foil.
