The size of the publication when paginated must be the same size as the final product. Create single pages, not double-trucks or page pairs. PDF files may contain several consecutive pages.
Do not leave extra, blank pages in the file.
Trimming room 3 mm. The creator of the PDF file is responsible for making sure there is sufficient trimming space.
For four-colour jobs, all elements must be in the form: CMYK/Process. In PunaMusta’s workflow 100% black is forced to be an overprint, and white is forced to be a knockout.
Avoid placing element closer than 4mm from the edge of the page.
Photo resolution 300 dpi regardless of the rastering process used.
Do not use Scandinavian or other special symbols in file names. The name must have an underscore before the page number, but the filename cannot begin with an underscore.
Example: "Paper 3-08_003.pdf" or "Paper 3-08_003-023.pdf"

- ISO Coated V2, for sheet printing machines’ or heatset sheets, where the paper’s weight is120 g/m2 or more.
- ISO Coated V2 300 for MWC ja HWC papers as well as for sheets to be varnished.
- ISO Web Coated, LWC and MFC papers.
If your material contains RGB elements, during PunaMusta’s workflow they will be converted to an ISO standard target profile, possibly saving with it the coming input profile.
